The Acrobat is Madrigal’s premier ranged specialist. Known for their high agility and flashy combat style, Acrobats utilize specialized tools of the trade—Bows and Yo-Yos—to dismantle enemies from a distance or through clever tricks.
Because their weapons require both hands to operate, Acrobats must forgo the protection of a Shield, relying instead on their superior evasion and stealth to survive.
At Level 15, you can promote to an Acrobat. Upon reaching Level 60, you must choose between two specialized paths:
Jester: The master of Yo-Yos, critical hits, and deceptive playstyles.
Ranger: The ultimate Bow specialist, focusing on AoE (Area of Effect) damage and battlefield control.
Bows:
Usage: These are long-range weapons that require Arrows for every attack.
Stat Synergy: Attack power is directly increased by Dexterity (DEX).
Scaling: To balance out the high accuracy and speed of DEX, Bows receive a smaller attack rate bonus from stats compared to Yo-Yos.
Yo-Yos:
Usage: Mid-range tactical weapons that have a small innate chance to Knockback enemies.
Stat Synergy: Attack power is directly increased by Strength (STR).
Scaling: Yo-Yos receive a larger attack rate bonus from STR, making them the heavier-hitting choice for raw power.
When you become an Acrobat, your primary focus will be on DEX and STR. Note that INT is generally avoided as it only benefits the MP pool, and those points are better spent elsewhere.
Bows are the precision tools of the Acrobat.
Primary Stat: DEX (Dexterity) * Effect: Increases the attack power of Bows.
Bonus: Every point of DEX also boosts your Critical Rate, Accuracy, Evasion/Block Rate, and Attack Speed.
Trade-off: To balance these massive secondary bonuses, DEX provides less raw attack power per point to Bows than STR provides to Yo-Yos.
Yo-Yos are high-power melee-range weapons that require a mix of raw power and finesse.
Primary Stat: STR (Strength)
Effect: Directly increases the attack power of Yo-Yos.
Why? STR adds more raw damage per point to Yo-Yos than DEX adds to Bows.
Secondary Stat: DEX (Dexterity)
Effect: Even Yo-Yo users need DEX to ensure their hits land (Accuracy) and to trigger Critical hits.
STA (Stamina): While not a primary damage stat, some investment in STA is recommended for all Acrobats.
Why? Since you cannot equip a shield, a higher HP pool from STA helps you survive if your evasion fails.
