The Buff Pet System allows your Pick-up Pets to do more than just gather loot. By upgrading your pet, it can hold Buff Beads that provide powerful stat boosts to your character while you fight.
You can either obtain a pre-made Buff Pet or convert your existing favorite Pick-up Pet using the following steps:
Summon the Pick-up Pet you wish to upgrade.
Use a Pick-up Pet Upgrade Scroll from your inventory.
Confirm the transformation. Your pet is now a Buff Pet!
Once converted, your pet acts as a container for Buff Beads.
Initial Slots: Every new Buff Pet starts with 2 open slots.
Expanding Slots: You can unlock up to 9 slots in total.
How to Unlock: Use a Bead Slot Key on your pet to open locked slots one by one.
Visual Glow: When a pet has at least one active Buff Bead, it will emit a permanent glow effect. This serves as a visual indicator that your buffs are active and cannot be toggled off in settings.
Drop Filter (TBA): When you summon your pet, a drop filter menu will appear. This allows you to customize exactly which items your pet should collect and which it should ignore.
Pro Tip: Buff Beads are essential for high-level play. Make sure to plan your bead combinations to complement your class build!
