Parties are essential groups formed by players to assist each other during the leveling process. When members are in the same vicinity, they share experience points across two primary distribution methods: Level-based and Contribution-based.
To establish a party, you simply need a minimum of two players. The aspiring leader must send an invitation to another player; the party is officially created once that individual accepts.
There are three convenient ways to bring new members into your group:
Direct Interaction: If you are standing near the player, use Alt+Click on them and choose "Invite to join party" from the menu. You can also achieve this by right-clicking them.
Social List: If the person is on your friends list, right-click their name and select "Invite to join party".
Chat Command: If neither option is available, type /PartyInvite [Player Name] into the chat bar to send an invitation.
Requirements: Players must be on the same channel as the leader and cannot be currently engaged in combat or already in another party.
Press the "P" hotkey to open the Party Window, where leaders can adjust various settings and monitor the group.
This section tracks the progress of your group:
Name: All parties start with the default name "Party". You may assign a custom name only after reaching "Advanced" status.
Level: Indicates the current level of your party.
Experience (Exp): Defeating monsters in a group of two or more nearby players earns experience for the party. Once this hits 100%, the party level increases.
Points: These are accumulated as the party levels and are used to activate specialized skills once the party is Advanced.
Leaders can decide how experience is split among the team:
Level: The default setting where members receive a share of experience relative to their own character level. This cannot be changed until the party becomes Advanced.
Contribution: This mode provides the most experience to the members who are actively contributing to the combat.
You can customize how loot is handled within the group:
Individually: The player who physically picks up the item keeps it.
Sequentially: Loot is divided equally among all members in a rotation.
Manually: The leader collects all items to redistribute them later.
Randomly: The system passes items to members at random.
The main window lists all members, with the leader at the top. If the current leader logs off, leadership automatically transfers to the next online person on the list. A party can hold a maximum of 8 players.
Colored boxes next to a member's name provide instant status updates:
Grey Box: The player is online but currently out of your range.
Black Box: The player is currently offline.
Blue Box: The player is online, alive, and within your immediate range.
Red Box: The player is within your range but has died.
Yellow Box: The player is within range but is dangerously low on health.
Transfer: Leaders can hand over their role to any other online member by selecting their name and clicking "Transfer".
Leave/Kick: Any member can leave via the "Leave" button. Leaders can use this same button to remove specific members from the group.
Advanced Party (Change): Once a party hits Level 10, the leader must click "Change" to transition into an Advanced Party. Failing to do this will prevent the party from leveling further. Becoming Advanced allows you to name the party and unlocks powerful party-specific skills.
Once your party reaches Level 10 and the leader selects the "Change" option to become an Advanced Party, you unlock access to specialized skills. While basic skills like Call Out, Blitz, and Retreat are available immediately upon advancement, more powerful abilities require the party to reach higher levels.
| Skill | Description |
|---|---|
| Call Out | Broadcasts the Party Leader's current coordinates to all group members. |
| Blitz | A command from the leader directing all members to focus their attacks on a specific target. |
| Retreat | A tactical command from the leader ordering all party members to disengage and withdraw. |
| Precision | Enhances the Critical Strike rate for the leader and all members while they are attacking the same target. |
| Link Attack | Provides a damage boost to all party members who are attacking the same target as the leader. |
| Fortune Drop | This skill increases the likelihood of unique items dropping from masquerpets. |
| Resting | Boosts recovery speed by 1.5x for all members; if the leader is an Assist, this recovery speed is further increased to 1.8x. |
| Gift Box | This skill increases the total quantity of items dropped by defeated masquerpets. |
To maximize your efficiency while leveling, keep these fundamental party rules in mind:
Contribution vs. Level: Contribution-based parties are the standard for active players because they provide significantly more experience than Level-distribution parties.
The "Partner" Bonus: In a Contribution party, players receive bonus experience as long as they have at least one other party member nearby.
The Level Gap: To receive experience while leveling together in the same area, the level difference between the highest and lowest-level players must not exceed 19 levels.
Full Party Bonus: Maintaining a full, 8-player Advanced Party provides a passive boost to overall experience gained.
Beyond specialized skills, reaching Advanced status allows the leader to assign a Custom Name to the party and gain access to Party Points. These points are generated as the party levels up and are consumed whenever a Party Skill is activated.
